Focus on the 1-3-2-6 System of betting

Introduction

The name of this system says it all. It's a staking system which based on the assumption that you can win four times in a row. This is a very simple system; all you have to do is adjust your stakes based on a few straightforward rules.

Betting Unit

First, you have to decide how much you want your betting unit to be. If you have a bank that you are prepared to lose, then a good guideline is to set your betting unit at 5% of the bank.

Your initial bet is 1 unit, the second 3 units, the third 2 units and the fourth 6 units. Let's assume that each unit is 100 and the price of each selection is 2.00.

How it works

The first bet is 100. If you win, you add 100 to the 200 payout making the second bet 300. If you win again on the second bet, you will now have 600. Of this you pocket 400 so the third bet is now 200.

If the third bet wins, you will have 400 to which you add 200 making a total stake of 600 for the fourth bet. If the fourth bet wins, you will collect 1200, all of which is profit. That is the end of the 4-bet cycle. Now you pocket the 1200 and start the system all over again at 100.

Note: Each time you lose, at any level, you start over again at 100.

Loss Summary

If you lose the first bet, your loss is 100.

The second level loss is 200.

At the third level, a losing bet will give you a net profit of 200.

At the fourth level, a loss leaves you breaking even.

Pluses and Minuses

The attraction of this system is that you risk 200 for the chance of making 1200. This means you can lose six times at the worst level (second bet), and with one win (a set of four wins in a row) get all that money back.

The biggest plus of 1-3-2-6 is that it’s simple to learn. There’s also no increasing your stakes when you lose, unlike many systems that have their origins in casino gambling, so you should be able to avoid losing money too quickly.

The biggest minus is that you need to predict sufficient winners, and at prices of around 2.00, in order to make a profit; an even higher percentage of winners is required if you are betting on shorter prices!

Remember, always bet responsibly.
