WPL: Oserian held by Wadadia in action packed match

Women Premier League Zone B side Oserian Ladies managed to claim a 3-3 draw with Wadadia FC, in an action packed catch up match played on Saturday 3 June at the Oserian Grounds.

Oserian who were the home team set the ground rolling with an instant attack and the intensity paid off when Jentrix Nabwire scooped a brace and later on Bertha Omita added a third. The three goals gave Oserian a comfortable lead but the visiting side had other ideas.

Wadadia did not lose hope after going down 3-0, like Oserian, Wadadia’s Marion Abiona managed to score a brace and Ruth Chebungei came to the visitors’ rescue by pulling one back to make it 3-3 and ensured the home team didn’t take all the three points.

Wadadia has maintained its 2nd position on the WPL Zone B Log before its next match against League leaders Vihiga Queens, while Oserian is 3rd and it will face Eldoret Falcons on June 10 at the Kipchoge Keino stadium.
