Manchester United midfielder Adnan Januzaj is reportedly preparing to leave the reigning Europa League champions for La Liga side Real Sociedad.
Analysts could not help but notice the Belgian’s absence from the Red Devils squad that travelled to the US for their pre-season outing, which prompted speculations that the 22-year-old is highly likely to be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer.
The rumours were however confirmed on Tuesday when club sources disclosed that United and the Spanish club had arrived at an agreement for the midfield specialist. The intricate details of the deal are however not known at this time.
Januzaj failed to find secure his spot in United under the tenures of former chiefs David Moyes and Louis van Gaal, forcing the tacticians to loan out the youngster to Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland for the past few seasons. A move to Sociedad will allow the play-maker to turn over a new leaf.
