Premier League side Watford have reportedly signed former Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah on a five-year-deal.
The Hornets proudly announced their new acquisition in a press conference on Thursday after managing to pry the youngster from the Premier League champions for only £6m to help bolster their midfield ahead of their forthcoming campaign.
Chalobah never managed to carve out his place at the Stamford Bridge, which saw the 22-year-old sent out on a number of loans since joining the Blues in 2010, with the most recent being to Serie A wildcards SSC Napoli.
Watford have now permanently acquired a player they had on loan during their Championship days in the 2012/13 season, who can not only be deployed primarily in the midfield, but also fill in as a defender.
