Kenya Premier League defending champions Tusker FC beat Ushuru FC 3-0 in a friendly match played at Ruaraka Grounds on Thursday 20 July.
Tanzanian winger Abdul Hassan gave the home side a lead after 10 minutes of play while Paul Odhiambo doubled the lead from the penalty spot. In the second half, the Brewers scored the final goal and former Thika United star Victor Ndinya was the scorer.
Tusker will now face Butterfly FC in the Shield Round of 16. The side will be hoping to ease past the side as they face off in Meru on Saturday. In another friendly match Posta Rangers beat Liberty Sports Academy by a solitary goal. The goal was scored by Gerson Likono.
