Kennedy Ayako is delighted to have scored a brace that sent National Super League side Wazito FC into the round of eight of the Shield.
Ayako scored the opening goal at the 15th minute and got his second at the 75th minute in Eldoret as Wazito eliminated GFE 105 from the competition. He is happy that the head coach Frank Ouna entrusted him with a position in the starting line up.
-I am humbled by the opportunity to start the match and I thank the coach for that. The pitch turned slippery at some point because of the rain but we thank God for the win. I’m happy that I scored both goals that have seen us to the next level, he told the club official portal.
Ayako spent a six month loan deal at Mathare United and was recalled back to Wazito FC during June transfer window. His side will face the winner of the clash between Bidco FC and AFC Leopards.
