Former Leopards striker leaves Ze Maria for another European Club

FK Tirana, home to former Gor Mahia head coach Jose Marcelo Ferreira Ze Maria has let go of their Congo Brazaville striker Merveil Ndockyt who has joined NK Osijek of Croatia.

According to Panorama Sports what prevented an earlier transfer of the Congolese asset is Tirana's insistence on a 10% player ownership. The offer made by Croatians is satisfactory for the 19-year-old Congolese himself, who will benefit 120,000 euros a season.

-To be honest, I am not incapable or stupid to hurry in such cases. The desire is great and we are doing a co-operation that also applies to the future of the players. Our goal is to retain some of the players' ownership. So we want a percentage if they are resold to other clubs in the future. If we agree on this point, then we agree to sign this agreement. We are now in the latest steps to realize the transfer of Merveille and Akuahs. This is for the benefit of the club and the players, for whom there are two other bids, as it is not just Osijek that has made the concrete step, Tirana president had earlier said hinting on the players move.

Ndockyt started his football journey with AC Leopards in Brazzaville before joining Tirana last summer.
