Chelsea have received a major injury boost as Eden Hazard has returned to light training ahead of the forthcoming Premier League season.
The Belgian posted a clip on his Instagram going through his paces at training as he steps up his recovery before the Blues bid to defend their title.
Hazard has had to undergo treatment on his ankle but his return to the training pitch will boost hopes he is approaching full fitness.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a big-money switch to Real Madrid but is committed to the Stamford Bridge outfit and determined to win more silverware.
While he faces missing the start of the campaign, he should be ready to play again by the end of August, and is eyeing to regain the Player of the Year crown he won two seasons ago.
He said: -Hopefully, next year it is the same — we win the league and then I win Player of the Year. Obviously winning the league is what we want most and the award is just a bonus.
In 36 league appearances for Chelsea, Eden Hazard scored 16 goals to assist the Blues Premier League triumph.
