Former Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho has successfully completed a £25m switch to Leicester City.
The 20-year-old is rumoured to have agreed to a five-year deal to join the Foxes over two weeks ago but was hindered from officially signing with the 2016 Premier League champions due to image rights squabbles between his current and former agents.
Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare is undoubtedly a happy man at the moment as the tactician has now landed a skilled finisher who can complement marksman Jamie Vardy on offense as the English side looks forward to reestablishing their dominance in the ultra competitive Premier League.
In a press conference following his signing on Thursday evening, Iheanacho, who scored 21 goals in 64 appearances for City, expressed his delight at moving to the King Power Stadium, and further disclosed that Shakespeare was key in convincing him to make the switch.
