W. Cup 2018: Egypt summons 15 foreign based stars for Uganda duel

Ahead of preparations for the much hyped world cup 2018 qualifier against Uganda, the Egypt national team coach Hector Cuper has named fifteen foreign based players.

The Pharaohs face Uganda Cranes in a top of the group E clash twice inside seven days.

Top on the list is Liverpool FC’s new signing Mohammed Salah who made a record-club 39M move from Roma.

Arsenal’s Mohammed Elneny, Ramadhan sobhy (stoke City), Ahmed Hegazy (West Bromwich) and Ahmed Elmohamady (Aston Villa) are some who ply their trade in England. 

The coach will integrate the squad with a top blend of local based players.

The first leg will be played at Namboole on Thursday 31st August and the return in Alexandria on Tuesday 5th September.
