Olum helps Timbers to back to back league wins

Kenyan defender Lawrence Olum marked a full time appearance as Portland Timbers beat Colorado Rapids 2-1 in Wednesday MLS encounter.

Goals from In-form Diego Valeri and a Darlington Nagbe's wonder strike in space of three minutes saw the host pacing to a comfortable lead 26 minute in.


Mohammed Saeid pulled a goal back two minutes later but  it only counted for a just a consolation with neither of the side able to extend their lead in the second half.

The win marked a second straight win for Timbers and their third in four games.
