Kenyan youngster Bernard Mwarome made a return to the starting line as Augsburg II thrashed his former side Bayern Munich II 5-1 in a German fourth tier.
Bayern Munich got disoriented after their keeper Christian Fruchtl was sent off at the seventh minute of the clash. Jonathan Scherzer opened the floodgates of goals at the 26th minute of the tie.
The young Bavarians replied with a goal at the 45th minute for a one all draw as the teams headed out for the halftime break. Ghanaian forward Kwasi Okyere Wriedt was the scorer.
Efkan Bekiroglu restored Augsburg lead at the 52nd minute before completing his brace at the 59th minute. Marco Richter scored their fourth goal at the 60th minute while Bekiroglu hit his third goal seven minutes later.
Mwarome has now clocked 232 minutes this season. He joined Augsburg in June from Bayern Munich.
