Swansea are reportedly interested in acquiring Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches.
The recent departure of playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton in a £45m deal left the Swans without the necessary depth in the midfield, prompting boss Paul Clement to eye Sanches as a viable replacement.
Sanches, who has been linked with moves to Liverpool, Chelsea, Monaco and AC Milan, is also rumoured to be favouring a reunion with Clement as the two developed a good working relationship when the tactician was Carlo Ancelotti’s deputy at Bayern last season.
The English side is reportedly planning to acquire the 20-year-old from the Bundesliga giants on loan with the option of thereafter acquiring him permanently.
