Tottenham have reportedly joined the race to sign Swansea striker Fernando Llorente.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to be disappointed with marksman Vincent Janssen for failing to complement forward Harry Kane in offense, which has made the tactician consider Llorente as a viable replacement.
The 32-year-old has for a long time been rumoured to be one of Chelsea chief Antonio Conte’s key transfer targets this summer as the Godfather believes that the veteran is the perfect mentor to help club record signing Alvaro Morata adjust to the style of play used in the Premier League.
Conte may however be handed another transfer blow if the goalgetter, who scored 15 goals for the Swans last season, is snapped up by the Spurs after recently losing the race to sign wantaway Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to perennial rivals Liverpool.
