Everton have officially acquired former Hajduk Split marksman Nikola Vlasic on a five-year, £10m deal.
The 19-year-old was the standout in Everton’s Europa League First playoff round fixtures against the Croatian side, garnering both the attention and admiration of boss Ronald Koeman in the process.
Vlasic expressed his delight at moving to Goodison Park, and added that playing for a club of Everton’s calibre is a “big honour” because it is one of the top clubs in England and in the Premier League, which is the best league in the world.
The Toffees have had arguably the best summer in the top-tier competition as they have managed to acquire the likes of playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson, goalie Jordan Pickford, midfielder Davy Klaassen, defender Michael Keane and forwards Sandro Ramirez and Wayne Rooney amongst other key players.
