Kibera coach blames concentration lapse for Talanta draw

Kibera Black Stars coach Godfrey 'Solo'  Oduor says a concentration lapse led to his side dropping two valuable points in the two all draw against FC Talanta on Sunday 10 September at Camp Toyoyo Grounds

A last minute scrappy equalizer from Ronny Katumanga helped Talanta pick a point from the clash just as it looked like Black Stars would carry the day.

Speaking to Futaa.com, Oduor hailed his charges for  what he termed as a good show but rued the equaliser which he says came as a result of concentration lapse at the back.

-We played very well today and I can only congratulate the boys for the perfomance. They did well and I am happy despite the fact that we conceded late. We did our homework well, knew how Talanta play and fielded  players who countered them well especially in midfield and it worked perfectly for us.

Costly lapse

-Only a concentration lapse in the dying minutes cost us because we conceded from a long throw-in. I believe we should have done better but that's football mistakes happen. This team is young, they keep learning and improving with each passing game and as a coach I have to guide them properly, not to put too much pressure on them. We will only get better with time, he said

Black Stars sits in the log.
