Nakumatt FC top scorer Kepha Aswani has set his goal target at 17 goals and he hopes that they will be enough to hand him the golden boot.
The forward netted twice at Ruaraka Grounds as they beat Posta Rangers 2-0 and he is hoping to add more goals immediately as they face Thika United on Wednesday evening.
-My target is to score 17 goals this season. With 17 goals I believe I will be among leading scorer. The chances of bagging the golden boot are high all I need is to work and at-least score two more goals in the next league match, he said.
-At Nakumatt FC chances are there and goals are coming so I hope to remain consistent and God-willing I will be able to win the golden boot this season, he added.
Competition for the golden is a tight race between Stephen Waruru, Aswani, Umaru Kasumba, Chrispinus Oduor and Meddie Kagere who is coming up strongly.
