Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Mike Mururi has hailed his charges class and coordination during their match against Thika United played in Mumias on Saturday.
Homeboyz staged a comeback in the final quarter scoring at the 77th minute and 90th minute for a 2-1 win. The victory extended their winning run against Thika in Mumias to three matches in a row.
Mururi is impressed with the way his charges played in a rainy afternoon. He believes that his side showed their quality by braving the rains and scoring twice for a win.
-My players were very well coordinate. The passing between the defenders and midfielders was very fluid and that is how we managed to beat Thika. Coming from behind and winning against a quality side and terrible weather – half the match was played under heavy downpour – shows there is real class in this team and we just need to believe in ourselves, Mururi was quoted by KPL.
Homeboyz have only one loss in their back yard this season. Last season they only lost three in matches in Mumias.
