Former Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has reportedly said that the English giants need to sign Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale to win the Champions League title.
The Welshman is among of group of analysts who believe that United are only a skilled winger away from becoming one of the most dominant clubs in Europe and further believes that his fellow countryman is just the man for the job.
Giggs was speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, where the former skipper admitted that United are ‘a little bit short at the moment’ despite having talismanic offensive players like striker Romelu Lukaku and midfielder Paul Pogba.
The 43-year-old further stated that defending champions Real Madrid are still the team to beat in this year’s edition of the competition, though other top-tier sides like bitter rivals Barcelona and Ligue 1 powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain are likely to give the Los Blancos a run for their money.
