Chemelil Sugar assistant coach Charles Odera believes his side has a chance of causing an upset when they play Gor Mahia in a Kenyan Premier League match on Thursday 14 September at Moi Stadium in Kisumu.
The millers host the high flying giants and they will be seeking to bounce back following their heavy 1-4 hammering by Sofapaka on Sunday 10 September in Narok. Gor on the other hand thumped Nzoia Sugar 4-0 on Saturday 9 September in Kisumu.
Ahead of the clash, Odera says his side can beat the league leaders if they give their best against Dylan Kerr's charges. He went ahead to downplay Gor Mahia's current fine form.
-I think sometimes form doesn't matter a lot , it's all about how a team performs on a particular match day. Gor are on form and definitely they are more confident going into the game but we also have our targets and we will be out to get the points as well. We are preparing well for the game and I believe it's a match we can win, he told Futaa.com.
Gor beat Chemelil 2-0 in the first leg.
