Kibera Black Stars coach Godfrey Oduor says his side is slowly coming of age after another draw against Nairobi City Stars in a National Super League match played on Thursday 14 September at Camp Toyoyo Grounds.
A late equalizer from former Gor Mahia youth team winger Wilson Njuguna ensured that the two sides shared spoils after Ezekiel Odera had given City Stars the lead four minutes into the game. In his post match interview, Oduor said his side is slowly maturing noting that they are managing to pick a point from teams that beat them in the first leg.
-I am grateful for the point today because it shows we are becoming tougher match after match, my players are showing that hunger for success which is a good thing. We are also getting points from teams that beat us in the first leg which is another positive to note because it's an indication of maturity in the team. We have to keep working hard and I believe we will return to winning ways soon, he said.
Black Stars sits 14th in the National Super League table with 24 points.
