France boss Didier Deschamps has reportedly revealed that Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has picked up a thigh injury.
The tactician disclosed that the 26-year-old will be out of commission on account of a ‘muscular problem behind the thigh’, which the Frenchman sustained during their 1-0 World Cup qualifier win against Bulgaria on Saturday.
Kante, who has played every minute of Chelsea’s Premier League campaign this season, was putting in his usual dominant performance before having to exit the fixture in the first half while clenching the back of his left thigh.
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot is expected to take fill the void left by the midfield maestro as Les Bleus square off against Belarus in a must-win match on Tuesday.
