Former Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher has termed Kenya's captain Victor Wanyama among the best in England right now.
Fletcher who is at Stoke City now after playing for West Browich Albion last season has also pointed out Southampton Defender Virgil van Dijk as another oustanding individual alongside the ;Beast' Wanyama.
-They are a good team with good players – you can be pretty certain about that. There are a number of players who could walk out of Celtic and into an English team and not just play but excel. I’d have no doubt about that, Fletcher told Glasgow Evening Times.
-You only have to look at Virgil van Dijk and Victor Wanyama for examples of players who have been turning it on at Celtic and who have become superstars in England, he added.
Wanyama joined Southampton from Celtic in 2013 after plying his services for the Scott club since 2011. He then moved to the Saints in a deal reported to be around 12.5 Million Pounds. He is not at Tottenham Hotspurs since joining in the Summer of 2016.
