Manchester United are reportedly planning to make a £50m swoop for Tottenham left-back Danny Rose come January.
Reputable sources claim that the Spurs indirectly hinted that the defender will be up for grabs come the winter transfer window after leaving the Englishman out of their official calendar for the year 2018.
United boss Jose Mourinho is rumoured to be still in the market for an experienced full-back since Luke Shaw is yet to fully find his stride at Old Trafford, forcing the tactician to have to rely on veteran Ashley Young and Daley Blind.
Rose himself recently implied that he favours joining the English giants over defending Premier League champions Chelsea - a development that is likely to encourage the Red Devils to seriously pursue a deal for the 27-year-old.
