Kariobangi Sharks skipper Geoffrey Shiveka has given an honest assessment of their performance in the Shield loss to AFC Leopards in Friday 20 October.
A 2-0 loss saw Sharks fail to clinch a major trophy in only their first year in top flight with Shiveka admitting that their display never carried the fight they have shown in past games.
-We were in poor in keeping the ball and were left chasing the ball and the game for long.
In the first goal we had possession and somehow went on to concede. We still had it in our hand an its only the second goal that i feel destabilised us, he told futaa.
In spite of the Shield disappointment, the skipper however believes they can look beyond the loss and their exploits in the season with pride.
It was a second time running Sharks made the podium finish having finished third in the 2016 edition.
