WPL: Vihenda saves Makolanders Olympic blashes

It was all a 2-2 draw as Mombasa Olympic and Makolanders clashed at Camp Toyoyo on October 22, in a Women Kenya Premier League match.

Harambee Starlets striker Adam Mwahima equalized   in the 38th minute Lasu Amy's early goal to make half time score stand at 1-1. Nuru Mustapha then put Olympic ahead with a well struck left foot shot from outside the area in the 74th minute, but Kizugu Vihenda leveled the scores in the 86th minute after tapping in a Christine Asuko cutback cross. 

Olympic stand position 5 with twelve points so far while Makolanders is just above them with a point. Makolanders though has played seven matches two less than Olympic.

Thika Queens lead the WPL Zone A with 19 points followed by Mathare United at with fourteen. Soccer Queens and Soccer Sisters lay bottom in the eight team log.
