AFC Leopards defender Michael Kibwage is eyeing more silverware at the den after winning the GoTV Shield on Friday 20 October in his maiden season at the den.
The youngster who came off as a late sub in the final match against Kairobangi Sharks has seen more play time under coach Robert Matano after a difficult start to life at the den.
The Mukumu Boys Secondary School alumnus now says he wants to win more trophies with the team.
-It feels good to be a champion, it's my first season at the club and I have won my first ever trophy, I can't even describe the feeling, I am over the moon, he told Futaa.com.
On play time, the youngster who's primarily a central defender says he will play any role he's assigned.
-The team comes first so it's not about what I want but what the coach decides. I will play in any position to help the team win matches, he added. Kibwage was snapped by Leopards in December 2016 after impressing for Kakamega U20 siren in the Kenyan Premier League U20 tournament. He's a product of South B based FISA Academy.
