Kenyan international David Cheche Ochieng has termed his first goal against Jax Amanda in the NASL league as the best of his career.
The centre-back did end his wait for a goal in the penultimate league tie last week and was full of good words to describe what he says is his best goal by virtue of how it came about.
-Their line was high so I decided to just try and run and see if [Emmanuel Ledesma] could get the ball to me, Ochieng said. he gave me a perfect ball. I just waited for the right time to strike it, Cheche relived the moment.
-I’ve never scored a better goal than that_ he said. I think that’s my best goal because most of my goals were from corner kicks. I’ve never ran from the defense all the way to the keeper like that before, he told the club.
Ochieng's last goal in a competitive match came back in 2005 against Zambia while featuring for the national team colors
