Three goals in five minutes helped KCB return to winning ways with a 3-1 win over Nairobi Stima at Camp Toyoyo Grounds on Sunday 11 November.
Former AFC Leopards man Simon Abuko opened the scores in the 8th minute from the penalty spot and three minutes later Chrispinus Onyango doubled it with a thunderbolt from outside the area. Bethuwel Warambo then compounded Stima's misery two minutes later with a fine header.
Victor Omune bagged the consolation for Stima in the second half. The win sees KCB overtake Vihiga to third in the log, Vihiga will play Palos on Wednesday 14 November in Kisumu.
In an earlier match played at the same venue, FC Talanta defeated visiting Isibania 2-0. In Kisumu, Ushuru FC bounced back following last week's setback with a 2-0 win over Palos FC while fellow promotion chasers Wazito FC defeated Nakuru AllStars 1-0 in a match staged at Afraha Stadium.
