Chelsea is reportedly looking to acquire Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.
Sources from within Stamford Bridge claim that boss Antonio Conte has identified the Argentine as the perfect frontline partner for marksman Alvaro Morata and a necessary piece to help bolster their chances of retaining the coveted Premier League title.
Icardi is having a stellar season with Inter, having scored 11 goals and assisted one in 12 appearances to help the Serie A powerhouse secure the third spot in the league standings behind leaders Napoli and defending champions Juventus.
Conte should, however, be willing to part with around £100m since the talisman is also being closely monitored by Spanish giants Real Madrid, who believe the skipper is the perfect candidate to replace Karim Benzema - a development that is likely to spark a bidding war between the two European juggernauts.
