Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly contemplating on whether to fire manager Unai Emery before the upcoming transfer window.
News outlet Yahoo Sports have made the sensational claims, further alleging that the team’s sporting director Antero Henrique has already made ‘contingency plans’ to deal with the tactician’s imminent departure, which speculations suggest could even be before January.
Emery has time and time again been accused of failing to develop the necessary team spirit at the Parc des Princes - a development that is rumoured to have left some players unsettled despite their recent success and the star-studded squad that the French juggernauts boast of.
Chelsea chief Antonio Conte and Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino are believed to be in the running to succeed the Spaniard, though the Ligue 1 giants have yet to formally declare their interest in either.
