Arsenal legend has cautioned boss Arsene Wenger against pursuing Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
The former midfielder, who currently works as a pundit for BBC and Talksport, was responding to recent reports which alleged that the 21-year-manager had identified the Ivorian as the potential replacement for wantaway forward Alexis Sanchez.
Parlour admitted that Zaha is ‘very dangerous’ but added that the marksman is ‘lacking a bit of goals’, which will ultimately fail to match the 25 goals that Sanchez nets for the English side on average every season.
Statistics are also squarely against the 25-year-old’s favour as they show that Zaha averages 3.1 shots per game to Sanchez’s 4.3. The Chilean is also arguably better at creating chances for teammates though youth is on the Eagles star's side since he is three years younger and can thus develop further if he gets a chance to play for a better team.
