Harambee Stars call-up Bernard Ochieng has termed a couple of recent personal feats as key moments for his budding profile as a player.
A potential career highlight for the defender came late in the season after his heroics proved just what Vihiga needed to secure a top finish in the NSL and earn top-flight promotion.
A second call-up soon followed by the centre back now is in line for his debut after being retained cut in Harambee Stars final squad for Cecafa duty.
-Scoring the decisive goal and getting the call national team is a boost to my profile. As a defender, my main role is to defend. sometimes it's rewarding when you get what you also train for like trying to get on the goals.
-I believe whatever comes up is always down to it an effort that should be appreciated that way, the defender told Futaa.
