Kenyan Premier League side, Kakamega Homeboyz has completed the signing of three players as part of its preparations for the 2018 Kenyan Premier League campaign.
The three are former Muhoroni Youth captain Kennedy Rono who is expected to beef up the attacking midfield position. Also in the list is Thika United right-back Wilson Anekeya who comes on board as a replacement for Athman Buki and completing the list is ex Tusker FC winger Noah Wafula who will add some punch in the side's forward line.
Their acquisition has been confirmed by club chairman Cleophas Shimanyula who also disclosed that the club is closing in on other top targets in bid to bolster the playing unit further.
-We have signed Anekeya, Rono and Wafula all on two-year contracts. These are players my coach is confident will improve the team further in 2018. We will have more players coming on board in the next few days. What i can promise our fans that we will have a stronger team in 2018, Kakamega Homeboyz is now a big team and we only sign quality players, he said.
Homeboyz finished 5th in the league in 2017.
