2016 Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker FC have continued with their rebuilding ahead of 2018 season by roping in Nakumatt FC captain Peter Nzuki.
The attacking midfielder has opted to ditch the cash-strapped league side and will feature for the Brewers from 2018 season under newly appointed coach Sam Timbe.
-He impressed the coaches in training and has signed a contract. Nzuki is a quality player and he will be a key player for us in 2018 considering we released almost all our midfielders, he's a good signing, a source from Ruaraka told Futaa.com.
An Alumnus of the football powerhouse, St. Anthony's Boys High School Kitale, Nzuki began his football career at Githurai All-Stars and it's where he was spotted by Nakumatt.
Promotion to KPL
He played a key in Nakumatt's promotion to KPL in 2016 by scoring a number of key goals and setting up others. He also received several call-ups to the National team, Harambee Stars while still in the NSL but is yet to don the national colours.
He joins the growing list of new faces at the Ruaraka based side; Mathew Odongo, Erick Ambunya, Apolo Otieno, Paul Muchika, Timothy Otieno, Robert Achema and Kevin Okoth have all joined the Sam Timbe revolution.
