Vihiga confirms resigning Sharks winger

Vihiga United have confirmed that they will sign their former player Michael Isabwa Misigo after a year with Kariobangi Sharks ahead of 2018 Kenyan Premier League season, Futaa.com can report. 

The winger endured a difficult 2017 season as a niggling Achilles problem kept him out of the team for the most part of the season only making a handful of appearances for the William Muluya coached side. 

He has recovered but will no longer be in Sharks' roaster as he's heading back to Vihiga who will be making their KPL bow in 2018 after topping the National Super League in 2017.

Final touches

 -Misigo is back. There are a few issues to iron out with Sharks before the transfer can be complete but everything is almost done, a source from the county government-sponsored side told Futaa.com. 

Vihiga is building after parting ways with 12 players. Gilbert Munai, Frankline Mwenda, Gideon Abucheri, Johnson Kidambu, Oscar Omwami, Nelson Asena, Martin Imbalambala, Aquinous Muteshi, John Ouma, Keiphas Mutuu, Rashid Kyambadde, Lucas Weitere have all been released.
