Arsenal are reportedly looking to acquire Boca Juniors forward Cristian Pavon.
Reputable sources claim that boss Arsene Wenger has given the green light for the Gunners to meet the marksman’s £27m release clause, since the tactician considers the linchpin to be a viable replacement for Manchester City bound goalgetter Alexis Sanchez.
Pavon has garnered the attention of a number of top European teams on account of his stellar season, which has seen the 21-year-old score three goals and assist another five in 12 appearances for the Argentine side in their ongoing campaign.
Should Arsenal manage to land the standout, then they will have successfully managed to sign a promising gem, who can give them many productive years at a bargain.
