Mathare parts ways with full back

KPL side Mathare United has confirmed that it has parted ways with fullback Derrick Nzosi who joined the club in the January 2017 transfer window.

Nzosi leaves just after one season in which he failed to nail a permanent place in the Slum Boys team that struggled to remain in the Premier League. The former champions have so far made four signings to bolster the team.

Different plan

-The club has parted ways with Derrick Nzosi on mutual consent. With the tough competition in the team following the December/January acquisitions, the technical bench felt he could not fit into their plans for the upcoming season. Nzosi joined the team in January 2017 and he leaves after one season. We wish him all the best in his career, the club confirmed.

Samwel Ndung'u who joined the club from AFC Leopards, Gilbert Osonga from Posta Rangers, Clifford Alwanga from Tusker and Francis Omondi are the new entrants into Mathare ranks. Nzosi had penned a three-year-old contract when he joined from Vihiga United.
