KPL side loses duo again to rivals

Bandari has again raided Nakumatt for two stars as it continues to add more depth to the squad that performed dismally last season.

Boniface Akenga and Joshua Oyoo join the Coast side on a one-year renewable deal and link up with their former teammate Nicholas Meja who left for Bandari earlier. Oyoo and Akenga will carry their Kenya Premier League experience to the Dockers while Meja made his league debut with Nakumatt when the club was promoted at the end of 2016 season.

The  2015 GoTV Shield finalists who have so far lost Kepha Aswani to Sofapaka, Kennedy Onyango and goalkeeper Ezekiel Owade to AFC Leopards. Onyango joined Posta Rangers.


Meanwhile, Nakumatt has had former Mathare United forward Brian Nyakan, former Ushuru FC midfielder Moses Odhiambo, ex-Posta defender Rodgers Omondi, Chemelil Sugar defender Amani Kyata and former Gor Mahia defender Solomon Nasio for trials. 

Agro midfielder Tom Adwar, former Nakumatt forward Cornelius Juma, Patrick Kagogo, Wycliffe Nyangechi, Timonnah Wanyonyi, Gradus Ochieng also featured for the Moneybags during their pre-season match against Makadara Youth on Sunday 10th.
