Kenyan Premier League side Bandari FC will play two friendly matches this week against National Super League sides starting on Tuesday 23rd January when they will take on FC Talanta at Camp Toyoyo before playing former KPL side KCB on Saturday 27th at the same venue.
The friendly match is expected to start at the 12 Noon with Talanta describing it as a more intensive natch that will help the team better prepare for what is expected to be a tough season in Kenya's second tier league when it kicks off in a fortnight. This comes days after their friendly against third tier side Savannah.
"In our last friendly game with Savanah FC, we beat them 4-1 and on Tuesday we will be having Bandari FC at camp Toyoyo at 12:00 noon for another more intensified friendly to harden up our young players from lower leagues," said Talanta assistant coach Shem Ondieki.
Talanta has boosted its team and capped it with an overhaul on the technical bench, bringing on board former Chemelil Sugar coach Juma Abdallah and Butterfly tactician Shem Ondieki. Bandari on the other hand is rearing from a loss of their Team Manager Alfred Achayo Obwaka a fortnight ago.
