Crystal Palace forward Sullay Kaikai has made a short-term switch to join the Eagles' south London rivals Charlton Athletic.
The Eagles academy graduate has only played four times for the club this season in all competitions and has been linked with the Addicks as he looks for regular game time. He has not, however, signed in time to play for Charlton against Blackpool in League One tomorrow.
Charlton boss Karl Robinson met with Kaikai and Palace officials more than a week ago and convinced the youngster to make the short move across south London - although it took a few extra days to get over the line.
“It was an important one for us. He’s an exceptionally talented individual. We thank everyone who has helped in the process in trying to make this happen, Robinson said.
The 22-year-old scored his first and only goal for Palace in September 2014 and has also been out on loan to the likes of Cambridge United, Shrewsbury Town and Brentford.
