SoNy Sugar head coach Salim Babu says his side's blunt attack is to blame for the 0-1 loss to Wazito on Saturday at Camp Toyoyo Grounds.
The Millers went down through a first half goal from Eric Odhiambo that deflected off a SoNy Sugar defender. According to Babu, his side was not clinical enough in front of goal leading to the loss. The tactician is however happy with the way his side played.
" I think our major undoing was in finishing. We created good chances but we just couldn't convert them and in the end we lost the match. Our play from the back, midfield was good, we were solid and I believe if we were a little clinical we would have picked at least a point from the match. All is not lost though, it's just the first match of the season and we will build on that going forward, " he told Futaa.com.
Next for the Millers is Ulinzi Stars.
