Thomas Lemar is no longer a priority signing for Liverpool.
According to Liverpool Echo, boss Jurgen Klopp is already looking for alternatives. The Red Devils have been heavily linked with the Monaco star since the end of last season. The Anfield club firmed up chase for Lemar following Coutinho’s departure but failed to land the star. The French international has reportedly refused to pen new deal at Monaco in a bid to force move to Premier League but the Reds are no longer running for his signature.
Journalist James Pearce has reported that the Reds chiefs have decided to look for alternatives next summer. They are convinced that there are other players in same position who will be available in the summer and more suited to Liverpool’s style of play.
Lemar has struggled this season netting only twice in the French league.
