Former Tusker FC midfielder, Moses Ndawula, has promised to carry his rich experience to inspire Onduparaka to cup and league glory.
Ndawula moved to the Arua side after facing the axe at the Kenyan breweries where he struggled to find playing time.
“I am happy to be here,” he said in an interview with the club media. “Happy with the environment, the people and my fellow players. I will work hard to ensure the club achieves in the [Uganda] cup and league.”
The travelled midfielder boasts of three Uganda Cups with SC Villa and the now defunct Victors.
Calls for Patience
Ndawula also revealed that his former relationship with Coach Livingstone Mbabazi at Lweza played an integral role in their reunion- this time at Onduparaka. He has called on the fans to be patient with the new signings as they integrate into the team.
"I worked with Mbabazi at Lweza so I didn’t hesitate when he called. The fans should expect the best but we call on them to be a bit patient,” he added.
Ndawula is among the five additions in the January transfer window. Others are Yafesi Mubiru, Oscar Agaba, Wesley Kisakye and Jamal Malish.
The Caterpillars start the second round against Express in Arua.
