Ulinzi Stars ace Churchill Muloma is not pegged down by the loss to SoNy Sugar and would rather focus on their next assignment at home against Mathare United.
Ulinzi were beaten by the Millers 1-0 and Muloma feels that they cannot be looking on the past and hopes to have good training ahead of the third round of Kenya Premier League action.
“That is in the past now anyway and we hope to train well and win the next game. Mathare United have done well so far and they will be keen not to get another loss like it happened last year. That will be another tough match, but of course there are no simple games in this league. It is all about getting to the game with the right mentality and readiness to fight," Muloma told the club website.
He feels that they were unlucky at Awendo, a place they are yet to get a positive result in the last eight outings, and blames lack of effectiveness in front of goal.
"We tried our best and I believe the performance was good but we were unlucky; we will go back to training regretting the chances we missed but also taking lessons from the defeat. They got one good chance and made full use while on our part, we created a plenty but missed," he added.
Ulinzi will host Mathare who are buoyed by two wins so far in the campaign.
