Ulinzi head coach Dunstan Nyaudo is confident of a better result when his side hosts Mathare United on Saturday 17th at Afraha Stadium.
Nyaudo’s side is keen on bouncing back to winning ways after a disappointing 0-1 loss to SoNy Sugar in the second match of the season at Awendo last weekend.
“The current Mathare United side is a very tactical team. Last year they struggled but took their lessons so this time they recruited well to solve their shortcomings and they have a lot of necessary experience in the team as well,” Nyaudo said.

Ulinzi Stars will be facing Mathare United, a team that has started the season well, with two straight wins. However, the coach expects a big fight in the clash at Afraha Stadium on Saturday, and trusts his players have what it takes to battle the 2008 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions
“They are a good team but we are also strong and we will prepare and go out there to give a good account of ourselves,” he added.
Last season, Ulinzi Stars beat Mathare United home and away, 5 – 1 and 1 – 0 respectively, but the coach is not getting carried away by past achievements against the team, who's current assistant coach Salim Ali is a former Ulinzi Stars coach.
