The National Super League is set for round 3 on Saturday and Sunday, with each of the 20 teams lined up for action but the focus will be on Muhoroni Youth, who are expected to tour Nairobi for a game a game against Nairobi City Stars on Sunday 25th February.
Muhoroni are bottom of the log after failing to honor both their opening games and should they fail to honor this one, then they will be relegated to the third tier, as per the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) regulations.
The match pitting Coast Stima and Nairobi Stima at the Mbaraki Stadium will also be among the top clashes of the third round while early pacesetters Isibania FC, the only team with a perfect record will be seeking to extend their stay at the top when they host Western Stima at Awendo.
The first match of the weekend will see newly promoted Green Commandos host FC Talanta in Kakamega as Kisumu Allstars take on GFE 105 at the Moi Stadium to wrap up the Saturday program.
In Naivasha, Kenya Police will be playing host to Mombasa based Modern Coast Rangers on Sunday as former premier league sides KCB and Ushuru face off at Camp Toyoyo on Sunday in the lead up to the City Stars – Muhoroni game.
Newboys Kangemi Allstars and Administration Police will be at Hope Center while St. Joseph’s will host Thika based Bidco United at Afraha Stadium as Kibera Black Stars takes on Nakuru AllStars in the second match at Hope Center.
