Ulinzi Stars head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has attributed the narrow win over Kakamega Homeboyz to the introduction of a new strategy.
Ulinzi won 1-0 against Kakamega Homeboyz. This win came after they defeated AFC Leopards 2-1 at home. However, Nyaudo has revealed that they needed a new strategy to beat the hosts and the introduction of the two strikers made everything easier for them as they were able to acquire a late goal through Masuta Masita.
“We were looking for a win and we knew with hard work we are going to get it. Finally, we beat them, and you see every football match requires a new strategy so we knew because we were playing away, definitely, we had to work very hard up front, ‘In the second half you see I introduced the two strikers and it yielded fruits,” said Nyaudo
The tactician has also revealed that since they will be facing Posta Rangers, a team that has been on the league for a very long time, they will have to come up with a new strategy in order to continue with their winning streak.
“My next match is at home am playing Posta Rangers and it is a good team. Posta Rangers has been in the league for a very long time we respect them and we are going to plan for them starting next week,” he added.
Ulinzi will be hosting Posta Rangers on Saturday 18th at Afraha Stadium.
