Sofapaka skipper Mathias Kigonya lamented at the missed chances, as his team played to a barren draw with Kariobangi Sharks on Saturday 10th March, at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
The keeper says they created so many chances, a few of which should have won them the game and though he didn’t level the blame directly at the strikers, he hopes in the next game, a little bit of precision will be shown.
The keeper kept his second clean sheet of the season in the game and is happy at the general performance, despite failing to clinch the entire three points.
“We really played our hearts out; perhaps the only negative from us was that we did not score, but we played well. We had a lot of scoring chances, I think the most, compared to all the matches we have played this season.
“I can’t fault the caliber of our attacking force; we have very sharp forwards and I hope in the next game we can make use of our chances,” he said.
