Chemelil won’t get carried over by good start

Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Chemelil Sugar emerged as the biggest winners in the sixth week of matches in the league, but defender Benjamin Oketch has warned that they should not lose their heads.

After six matches in the season, the team is placed second, just five points behind Gor Mahia and Oketch, who commands a lot of experience hopes his mates will not get carried by the good start and continue working hard.

“For us, it has been good so far; we have lost once but, we have also performed well and to be second at this point of the season should not get into our heads.

Achieve Goals

“We are committed to working hard for the season and to be able to achieve our targets, we have to keep our feet on the ground,” he stated.

The team beat Nakumatt 4 – 1 in their most recent match, at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos on Sunday 11th March.
